Baseball Cleat Information

Metal Cleats:

High School Baseball- Metal Cleats are allowed
Babe Ruth and Senior League Baseball- Many associations allow metal cleats; Check with your league sources to make sure
Little League, Pony League, Cal Ripken, Pixie League Baseball- Most of these leagues do not allow metal cleats. Check with your local association
Tee-Ball and Coach Pitch- No metal cleats allowed in almost all leagues

Almost all softball leagues and associations ban metal cleats and allow only plastic or rubber cleats.

Notable exceptions to these are:

High School Fast Pitch Softball- As of January 2008, High School Fastpitch players are allowed to use metal cleats
Metal cleats are also allowed in some 18U divisions- check with your local associations
